Our Advertisement! March 12, 2009

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Well for the advertisement of our product, my group has decided to do something different. Instead of filming ourselves as the actors trying to sell our product, we are going to be making our advertisement on Pivot. For those of you who don’t know what Pivot it, it is a stick figure animation sort of programme and it’s really fun to play round with. Just to tell you a little bit about our ad, we are going to have a person who finds a stick, (well he/she thinks it is a stick) and then the person uses it on another person, and then turns them into an elephant. After an elephant the person changes into a burger etc. So it goes on and on. We haven’t exactly decided the end of our animation yet but we have a fair idea of what we are doing. As soon as our advertisement has been made, I will be sure to post it onto my blog straight away. I really hope that our product is a success and that our group will get a good mark on our advertisements etc. Wish us luck!

I’ll check my emails at school tomorrow. Yup we had our first student assembly last Thursday! It was fun but a little embarrasing! We had to stand on the stage and pose while the teachers read out some things about us.

What is caritess. Yeah I am playing netball this year. We had our first student assembly last week and all the house captains had to go out and say there chants. After a while it wasn”t that embarrasing, but was still at first talk to you soon

Hows school going, as Hayley said we did our first student assembly, the C.C did a great job, us house captains had to sing our chant-alone in front of the whole school!! It was embassing!!

I dont reallyknow what my favourite thing would have been, everything was awesome!! But possibly the sound house, Te Papa, the staduim or going to picton!!
Yea it was a bit annoying that we didn’t win the softball but room one really deserved to win!!
Yea we finish school today as well (yay,) hope you have fun doing what ever you are doing today!! You need to tell me what its all about.

I havent really been doing that much. But for my birthday Hannah, Georgia, Hayley and I went ice skating! it was pretty fun although it hurt heaps when I fell over!

Umm Production is gunna be pretty cool this term, I didn’t get a main part but i’l try for a minor one or play in the band. We you involved two years ago in the pirate queen?
Also theres totora springs and ski trip and all those sort of camps which will be fun. I’m also on dishes, and got three small easter eggs from Mr McCabe!!

Oh the production is called little stars and its based around a show like nz idol or somethng. Brair got the lead and there was heaps of other main roles.

Hows school going. OMG, last week the head students and principals and deans came and talked to us about college. I don’t wanna go to college but at the same time I do! LOL
Our production was cool. I was a back up singer and Mrs Shaw decided that that we weren’t allowed to go off stage at all! SO we sat there and were really bored. Were you involved in the Pirate Queen at all? We have been selling chocolates (as you may know!) and I have sold 7 boxes, still got 3 boxes at home. I am aiming for 13 boxes but I think I’ll only sell 10.
Ummmm… we had cross country last week and I came 55… arrrgh!! Except we are hoping that we still got the shield, Megan came first, Kara third, Jake second……

Sorry I didn’t reply earlier. We have been caught up with work and now I have a break as it is nearly end of term!
My speech was on The Future and I made it into the class finals but I didn’t make it into team finals. What’s your topic? Did you get into the year 9 finalists group?
And yep, Room 3 did win the Cross Country shield, even though we didn’t think we would.
